Best summary I can think of right now “grand theft Orioles”. We can’t live on his past statistics, he’s been hurt the last two years with a grand total of 17 home runs and if I’m understanding correctly, he’s on the IL right now. You’re kidding me right?

Azocar and Eyanson are losses. I'm not worried about Witherspoon or Narvaez.

I like that they are getting a very good catcher. The prospects look good on paper but they are prospects. If the Sox, two years ago, had traded Marcelo Mayer, Kristian Campbell and Casas in one trade people would have went crazy, Not today. Prospects are just that until they do something. Adley is a proven big league catcher. If they sign him long term they have a cornerstone player.

One evaluator from another organization said this is the DUMBEST trades he’s seen in 30yrs according to McAdams.

It would make me more comfortable with the price, if it came with an extension.

IF Rutschmand can stay relatively healthy moving forward, this is going to be a great addition in the years to come. It is a big IF though.

As one fan said you just traded for a used car that currently doesn’t run.
