  1. If they don’t get one or 2 big bats soon, they should just give up on the season. Post game guys noted that the Scots are seeing more scoring in Soccer.
  2. I don’t remember Kyle Harrison getting a fair shot with the big club. Why did they trade for him if they had such little regard for him. He hasn’t give up more than 2 runs in any of his starts with the Brewers.
  3. Nick Castellanos has been released by the Padres.
  4. I am glad that they shipped him out. Hopefully, he can straighten himself out.
  5. Do they have any options left on Bello? He is a train wreck and needs to work out a lot of things.
  6. This drop in angle this year resulted in diminished velocity and less vertical movement. Coincidence?
  7. Let me know when his surgery gets scheduled. Start the clock from then.
  8. Crochets change of arm slot didn’t enhance his stuff. It diminished it — his velocity, his break etc.
  9. Sale is not a good example, because his arm angle is lower after having suffered long term injuries. The lower arm angle is probably to take stress off of a high mileage arm. Tolle is not a good example because he is searching to become league dominant. He hasn’t changed his arm angle after dominating the league. You don’t change what is working in a dominant way. The moment Crochet’s arm angle changed his pitches flattened out and he sacrificed depth on his breaking stuff, according to the radio announcers.
  10. I disagree. I can’t think of a top pitcher coming off a Cy Young worthy season who dropped his arm angle to improve. The angle drops because they are damaged. Dropping the arm angle flattened out his pitches, reducing his effectiveness. i knew that he was in trouble when the announcers were talking about the significant drop in arm angle. It was only a matter of time.
  11. Healthy pitchers don’t drop their arm angle. His angle has been down significantly since ST. He’s wounded.
