Is JH the same guy today in all facets of the Red Sox operation as he was when he bought the Red Sox, and the Red Sox won those Championships, or even going back to 2018? Once again Casas was the planned 1B, and I don’t think the Red Sox brass at the time saw Raffy’s D at 3B as a big problem like you, and others did thus Bloom telling Raffy he be the 3B for the foreseeable future.

I don’t know what the vibes in the clubhouse, and dugout are since Chad took over, but outside of Masa being odd man out when everyone is healthy i don’t see much difference in how things are done.

And they counted Sac Flys as an AB back in those days like the 406 season.

Agree on Con Man who has also been pretty smooth around the bag at 1B. Let’s not leave out like many on here the Red SOX were counting on a major contribution from little Anthony, which certainly hasn’t happened yet. 1 HR, and 4 RBI, and a gift of another one has been largely disappointing not to mention his injury problems already.
