  1. His big chance. Play him everyday, and let’s see what he’s got.
  2. These are all useless from what the original timetable was. Take little Anthony for example, and the day to day.
  3. Because you were counting on little Anthony to have a Fred Lynn type season when he wasn’t prepared to do so just for starters.
  4. I’m not speaking for the fanbase, but I hear a lot more of them than you do. As I’ve said many times TS does not have the pulse of RSN very often. What I don’t understand is the not getting in it to win it attitude. You guys are the diehards who watch every game, which i used to be, but now I’m just a bystander who remembers what it was like when I was.
  5. So now you’re speaking for the fanbase? How many do you speak to, or hear on other venues? I bet not as much as I do. I’m not into the illusion of contention thing like some are on here saying how close the Red Sox are to getting into a wildcard spot. I see them as they are, which is a 5 games under 500 team, and have been worse than that most of the year, which shows how bad they really have been in a very weak league, and they might never make it above 500 at all. Just getting to 500 would be a very low bar. I disagree 100% the fanbase didn’t feel better last year making the postseason just, because you didn’t, and would feel better this year if they did again compared to if they didn’t unlike yourself apparently. One year doesn’t have to carry into the next year to be successful.
  6. The goal every year should be to get into the postseason. If Sam, or Brez came out right now, and said we don’t think we’re good enough this year, so we’re not going to make any moves to get into the postseason they would be chastised for it, and they should. 2021 was worth it. 2025 was worth it. 2026 would be worth it if they can get in. I’m not counting on those suspects you mentioned, and that’s why they need, and needed some more veteran players like Bregman, or RAffy who have played in the postseason. Don’t be afraid. Come on in the water is fine, and it may be even better come Aug. Business Model?🤮
  7. Haven’t they been doing that for the last three years waiting for the so called bumper crop to be here? Who else is coming? As everyone has pointed out the league is so WEAK this year if the rotation is healthy I’ll take my chances NOW, You get in to win, and anything else should be unacceptable. You may like waiting longer, but the players are playing to win now.
  8. Would 1 bat helped them against the YANKEES last postseason? Let’s see where the Red Sox are come the end of JULY, and then go from there. It’s way to early to decide what to do now , and either way I don’t trust Brez to do the right thing anyway.
  9. That is true, but you also have to go outside most likely like David, and Manny on the 2007 team, David still on the 2013 team, and JD on the 2018 team. What’s plan B if most of these long awaited suspects don’t live up to the hype?
  10. Yes, and so far the two most prized suspects have been pretty much flops with the bats, and everyone including Brez knew they needed at least 1 more big production bat like JD who was added to the 2018 team.
  11. I fully understand this team is 5 games under 500, and if they can’t get above 500 no matter how close they are to a wildcard spot come trade deadline i wouldn’t do any buying, but if they are above 500, and in contention then I’m in on buying. What makes no sense is keep kicking the can down the road, and keep waiting for the hype of the suspects to actually lead to success on the field. I’ll say it again if you aren’t going to play to win then don’t play, and I think that’s where the players are most of the time. I also fully understand that up to now the Red Sox have pretty much been offensively challenged, and that’s why a bat, or two to go with the pitching could make a difference just like last year’s postseason where another bat was needed, and could have made a difference.
  12. And we all know the Red Sox are still looking for that 3rd option in the fork in the road. You guys are so consumed with suspects you think the more the better. Like I asked how many years do you want to kick the can down the road. Hype, and hope on all these suspects may never lead to the success you’re hoping for.
  13. Right now I’m only concerned about this season 2026. Who said anything about trading suspects for a BP piece? Who? Once again analyzing like someone else on here. If you are not going to play to win then why play at all? Would another bat have most likely have made a difference against the Yankees last year? 1 HR, or maybe just a single. Nobody is even suggesting constantly selling off suspects for BP pieces, but depending on who the bat was yes. This isn’t the 67, or 75 Red Sox where all the young homegrown talent is going to get you into the WS despite how much hype some of these suspects have.
  14. I get all that, but a postseason berth last year, and what would have helped beat the Yankees? How about a bat you know someone like Raffy.
  15. If I’m buying I’m buying for now, and if it carries into the future fine, but now would be my primary concern, and focus. How many more years do you want to kick the can down the road?
  16. It’s not worth it to you? What a loser attitude. LOSER, LOSER, LOSER. I wonder if the Red Sox players have the same attitude? I doubt it very much. Get in the postseason, and good pitching can take you a long way. Glad to know the Red Sox aren’t winning a ring, so might as well forfeit the rest on the season now, and go home.🤭🙈🤮
  17. Well said. I’ve been posting for some time now how many games the Red Sox are under 500, and today being 5 games under is the closest they have been recently, but they are still an under 500 team in a year where the league is weaker than weak, which makes living under the 500 mark as long as they have even worse. I guess it makes some feel better to say the Red Sox are close to a wildcard spot, but let’s get to 500 first, and if they can’t probably nothing else matters.
  18. Wow! A few days ago you were saying how absurd it was to put the Red Sox worst hitter meaning Duran in the leadoff spot. Saying Duran was the worst hitter was kind of harsh.🤔
  19. 22-27 5 games under 500, which is still bad, but going with a very low bar this is the closest the Red Sox have been for awhile. It helped just sweeping a team as bad as they are, and losers of 9 of their last 10. Still 29th in HR, and RBI, and 28th in total bases per game. Those two run homers have won them the recent games though.
  20. Now up for the Red Sox #12 Breslow #12.
  21. I agree on Brez. I think most analysts especially AJ agree that Brez BOTCHED the Bregman’s negotiations from the first offer made, and then every move after that. That’s Brez #12 in your program.
  22. 👍👍👍👏
