Mayer has not lived up to the hype of being the #4 overall draft pick. I think its too early to write him off but if he doesn't stay healthy and have a good season in 2027, then it may be time to say, he will never be what he was advertised to be. -
Durbin is hot now. Can't bench him now. Eaton can play instead of Duran.

Sonny Gray has been a great addition and should be on the All-Star team. Have to give Breslow credit for getting him.

He has raised his batting average over 40 points and is showing some power. All in about 3-4 weeks. I would say that is great improvement. Prior to that, he was the worst hitter in baseball.

This Roman Anthony situation is getting ridiculous. How soft is this guy. Its like Casas in 2024.

He has improved greatly but the trade still looks horrible.

He has to take a look back, as Lou Merloni correctly pointed out. He also has to read the ball and the outfielder's position.

How in the world is that scored a base hit. Mayer looked like a scared little leaguer trying to get out of the way. That is an error all the way. Baseball's scoring has totally changed to favor the hitter and not make the fielders feel bad. F**K the pitchers ERA.

Man on second, no outs and a left handed batter can't move him over. That is losing baseball.

Good thing Chaim Bloom let Schwarber walk when the Sox had him. They don't need any 60 home run guys on the team. Great move.

5-6 with a 3.75 is not exactly lights out. May still sucks although he did just have a complete game shutout.

He sucks. What a terrible trade by Breslow. Other terrible trade was the Dustin May trade.

Toronto has first and third and one out and gets a good AB that ends with a SF. Sox would have struck out, popped out or hit into a DP.

Kristian Campbell down to .216 for Worcester. Whiff on that contract.

Only players I don't trade from current roster are Crochet, Tolle, Early, Bennett, Ranger, Anthony and Cedanne.

I just got home so I don't know if this has been talked about but I read an article today about the two guys that Breslow traded for Dustin May. One of which is James Tibbs who the Sox got from the Giants for Devers. Both are tearing up the minors and Tibbs is now ranked as the #24 prospect in MLB. Add in Kyle Harrison and Shane Drohan who the Sox gave up for non-hitting Caleb Durbin and its clear that Breslow and his staff don't know what the hell they are doing.

There is a reason that Ryan Watson was exposed to the Rule 5 draft. Because he sucks.
