    our line-up is pathetic Making me yearn for the return of Story. Is Anthony going to play any games the rest of the year?? It is obvious that Crochet is done for the season. Breslow mortgaged our future by trading 3 of our top 5 prospects for a C who almost certainly won't be here past whatever season we have in 2027. And then he traded our #4 overall pick for a LH reliever,. Oh my gawd--did I miss anything??

    i have seen maybe 10-12 Sox games this year and i'd be shocked if he hit over .100 in those games

    i would be surprised if he played again this season. Getting sick and damn tired of Duran. I'd play Yoshida over him and use Duran as a pinch runner.

    or we can go out and sign another rehabbing SP ON A 2 Yr deal when we know he won't throw a single pitch in yr 1 and then MAYBE be ready in the 2nd half of yr 2. Cause we've never gone that route have we? Better to do that then extend Sonny Gray for a few years.

    unless the sox have a deal in place for him I hardly doubt that JH will buck up for him. The Orioles were said not to be interested in what he asking for albeit they apparently have a C in waiting to replace him.. some other factors to consider: !} When will AR be ready to go behind the dish for the Sox. 2} what happens if there is no 2027 season as feared or at least a shortened version. Did we give up 2 top P prospects for maybe 100-125 games of AR? 3} Does anyone actually have faith that JH will actually splurge to extend AR.? Far yoo many questions for me to be high on this deal.

    last yr everyone was lauding CV as a steal from the NYY. I cautioned against putting too much faith in his strong 1st half and sure enough he fell off the cliff in the 2nd half and this year as well.
