  1. Chapman is simply a rental and as a result will likely only bring back a decent but not great prospect.
  2. exactly the type of BBB the Sox likely will add
  3. Wow these guys look promising. Breslow has failed on many fronts but adding young pitching prospects has been his best work in this area. Mullins and Eyanson especially look good. I like that both guys have great secondary pitches along with a good fastball.
  4. yeah he's a stud who will lead us to the promised land
  5. and your suggestion on how to fix this mess is.........?
  6. given the Red Sox revenue one would hope so. Spending smartly now that's a different story but by all means keep going on and defending JH. You are pretty much a lone wolf on here.
  7. It is moves like this that get RSN upset. And even when we make good additions like Bregman,, Contreras, Gray they are almost all for only 1 yr and done. Chapman is the exception but he needs to be shipped at the deadline for a quality prospect or two and then resigned in the offseason for another 1 yr.
  8. Henry doesn't spend enough money but the buffoons [Bloom, Breslow,] have WASTED significant $$ on low risk re-hab pitchers and the like.
  9. i am sick to death of Weissert. he almost never strand any inherited runners. Complete trash.
  10. did you not say Sandal would be in the rotation?? Chalk him up to another of the Sox low risk-NO reward P signings that flopped.
  11. No introduction needed so here it goes: Catcher-D 1st Base-B 2nd Base-C Shortstop-D 3rd Base=F LF-Duran-F CF-Raefael-C+ RF- Abreu- B+ SP- B- Bullpen-B-
  12. i am not complying about Conteras but a .253 avg with about a 33% K rate doesn't qualify as GREAT in my books., But he is WAY DOWN the list of issues this team has. Myself I'd give him a B grade.
  13. 5should have capitalized the whole post mr math teacher lol
  14. i didn't say he was a bad move just that he wasn't really a GREAT move.
  15. we NEED to be sellers and the QUICKER THE BETTER. Contreras, Chapman, Gray, and Duran should able to return some young cost controlled talent THAT JOHN HENRY craves.
  16. i can't begin to state how disappointed I am in Bello. I had been 100% against trading him in the past but now I am ok wust giving him away for nothing but salary relief.
  17. this thread has gone as far off the rails as the Red Sox 2026 season.
  18. they bloody well better not trade EITHER Tolle or Early. Both have proven their worth at the MLB level.
  19. Once again the Sox are horrible. They are actually so bad I truly could care less and as most of you can tell that by the fact I have been absent on here for most of the last month. I came into the year with great hopes but they quickly were dashed. Once again the team is floundering at the bottom of the AL East standings. I could go on and on about where this is heading but like John Henry [who SHOULD BUT DOESN'T care} I could care less. i don't even bother to check the results day by day. This is where the Sox are at for me. Sad !!
  20. i could care less whether he starts or not. Obviously he was not expected to be an everyday player but he WAS paid to be so. It is signings like this that drive the payroll up so people like you can argue that the Sox are not cheap. Paying IKF at the minimum was an OVERPAY.
