    can someone tell me why Gray hasn't been offered a 2 or 3 yr extension? Guy has been amazing but I guess JH would rather roll the dice on another rehabbing SP on a 2 yr deal even if if he can't pitch at all in year 1. Oh wait-we haven't done that at least 4 or 5 times in the past 5 years.

    if stinking means he has at least 1 hit in all 6 games since his return and multiple hits in 4 of the 6 games then yeah I guess he stinks.

    in any event this trade stunk for several reasons. The O's already had their long term C in sight and it wasn't AR. There is no way they were going to sign him as a FA so instead they got one A+ SP prospect and one A-SP prospect PLUS a BU C likely to put up as good or better #'s than AR plus a 4th player as well. We have already released the scrap B/U C the O's threw in the deal. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE trade !!!

    i don't see them missing the postseason. What I DO see is AR continuing to be a flop WHEN HE ACTUALLY PLAYS and then the lockout hits and we lose a signifigant part of 2027 and then he leaves as a FA.

    that is exactly what i have been saying. there is no argument anyone can make defending this trade either today or the day the trade was made. it was a huge overpay no matter what anyone says.

    so you still support the trade??. I said from day 1 it was a bad trade. History tells us there is almost no chance JH would buck up to sign him as a FA and given what we have seen of him to date why would he?? Not to mention we stand to lose a good portion of his one year we have him due to a possible/probable lock out. Terrible trade--terrible !!!
