They said 1948 was the last 13. When was the last 14?

1946.  They win 15 in a row.  Team record…

Keep spreading the news.

The Red Sox still can’t loose.

Who wants no part of it?

New York, New York.

If you can fake it there, you can fake it anywhere.

Based on the weather forecast it looks like another day/nighter on Wednesday. However, both teams have Thursday off, so maybe they'll play an afternoon game on Thursday. That seems more likely.

Hopefully, the game can be played tomorrow.

The Yanks are the fakers.

I'm afraid this hot hitting streak will come to an end, sooner rather than later.

What part of it is unsustainable?  I've gone through the BR 28-day results.  There will always be some players under and over their historical norms, but I don't see anything way off their projections.

Baseball is too random to sustain long streaks.

I don't think he meant any harm by his point.

I do think this team is a force to be reckoned with, even if we have a little rough spot.

Sooner or later.

Since there is no results carryover from a given game to the next. each game is a discreet event not a continuum of outcomes.

It looks like a streak to us because we can view each event simultaneously and relate the cumulative outcomes.

The RS are just as likely to win the next game as to lose it without regard to the string of independent outcomes of each game. Ignoring suspended  games, there are only 2 outcomes--win or lose

Cheng’s catch hardly got any notice by the broadcasting team.  Sadly I’m thinking Chapman might be nearing the end

I think your analysis is wrong because you are dealing with human beings and their performance, human beings with memory and superstition; you're not dealing with a coin flip.

My favorite streak was during the 'todd Bellinger' years (two of them), when after flailing about for a half-year and me deciding just to relax and root for .500, they went something like 22-1.   Until this streak, I remembered that as 20-0.
