Arozarena would be another mistake (while announcers like to pronounce his name). A two year contract at most. He's never hit more that 27 home runs in a season (that was 2 years ago, he's not big enough), so he cannot be classified under any metric as a power hitter. I'd stay away.

Marte was already a head case long before this season. I've been saying it for two years, a trade to Boston is not going to cure his problem or help us. I hope his mia antics this past season shut down this talk.

Expand rosters to 27, then add two more teams, then shrink rosters back to 25 (giving the expansion teams potential MLB prospects to choose from). Create 8 - 4 (or 4 - 8) team divisions. Eliminate interleague games (or at least minimize it). Get rid of the DH.

There is no offensive player in the years FA worth going after (that was last year and we punted). There are a handful of pitchers who will command most of the attention this year. Resigning Sonny Gray (if he wants to be coached by idiots that don't trust him) should be a priority. -

Contreras allowed Jones to reach. He should have been in front of the bag and stretching. He's still a catcher, not a first baseman.
