  1. I’m not wrong often enough to get tired of it
  2. Far enough below for me to favor selling at the TD. You too, I believe.
  3. No, Fred is a "don't hedge" guy. My preference is to be sellers since we have well below a 50% shot at even getting into the playoffs according to multiple sources and are still well below .500. Plan for a couple of years from now. Its best. But above all DO NOT HEDGE AGAIN!
  4. We are where we are. If Henry and BresLOW had done their jobs this past offseason we’d have been much better off. They are getting an undeserved second chance to make it right by preparing for a couple of years down the road. Or going all in.
  5. One is Anthony. The second one needs to be obtained. Perhaps one additional accessory piece to replace a bum now on the team. Same as over the winter. Yes-it will not be cheap. But we don’t have the pitching and defense every year to compete like this year. Better still, BresLOW could admit he screwed up this past winter and just sell.
  6. We aren’t good enough to compete for a ring right now. Add a couple of good bats to replace some of the bums and we could compete. It all depends on how BresLOW does at the TD. The pitching and defense are good enough. The offense needs improvement.
  7. Gladly. As currently constructed we aren’t good enough to go all in. That’s why I want us to be sellers. Second choice-buyers. Last choice-hedge
  8. Fangraphs gives us about a 40% chance. Vegas much less than that.
  9. As I have written we have the pitching to compete, but we will need a lot of help offensively. We aren't completely awful, but there is no legitimate source that even gives us even odds to get into the playoffs. This should have been taken care of over the winter. Its wasn't. The talent was out there, but Henry was too cheap to pay for it and/or BresLOW was too dumb to make it happen. The team isn't terrible, but it needs a lot of help and I am not sure BresLOW is smart enough to get it without giving up the farm. From what I hear teams do not want to deal with him. Pitching and defense wins rings, but during the season you have to score runs and we aren't capable of that right now.
  10. I said, I believe, that the worst possible alternative is to hedge AGAIN. I think we are on the same page except sell for me is much preferred. But if we are going to be buyers go all in. We have the pitching staff to compete but we will need at least one more good RHH and for Anthony to return.
  11. I was neither wrong before nor wrong now. I still think this team should be sellers because I’m not satisfied this year with just showing up in October, if we even make the playoffs. The Flops are still below 50% odds to make the playoffs per Fangraphs and even worse in Vegas. They are projected to win 81 games this year according to some sources. It’s been a nice stretch but I don’t think they can keep it up. My comment was about your statement that yet again BresLOW will equivocate at the TD. That strategy is a mistake, one the flops have made repeatedly. You do that and you neither compete this year nor acquire assets to compete in future years. Hope that clears it up.
  12. Your last sentence is exactly the problem BresLOW has had: equivocating at the TD to the great detriment of the team. It’s time to dive in head over heels one way or the other.
  13. I can’t believe they won that. Costly error
