    Yup. They signed a contract, There is no clause in there that he has to kiss the asses of his bosses. But apparently the contract a number of posters signed for their employers did in fact contain that clause.

    Having grown up (and never past) the sixties, I find it very odd that the word 'insubordination' is used here in a purely negative sense. So 'virtue', then, is obeying your boss, bowing to authority, doing what you're told ... WTF has happened to this country?

    Yeah, there are just SO many teams (unlike the RS) who don't have enough .190 hitters on their rosters.

    Maybe if I question him again as I did last night, he can keep it up, SO once again: WTF is Duran doing as a regular starter? He's good great speed, but he's an average fielder at best, and he's hitting ,190. (Ok. We'll wait for results)

    Exactly what purpose does it serve running Duran out there game after game? He's been consistently below the Mendoza line, despite all the quirks of his set-up and on again off again exagerated leg kick, Nothing about his approach suggests he will improve this year. Sit him and hope for better things in the future.

    Both miss 7 games of salary, which I'm pretty sure is more important to them than how many 'starts' they lose.

    If Bregman was such a GREAT fielder and a GREAT team player and a GREAT 'willing-to-sacrifice' sort of guy, then the obvious question is 'WTF didn't HE move to first base?' The RS FO has offered not a shred of evidence to refute the obvious interpretation that the plan was to unload Rafy's contract all along and to 'Tito' his departure by pushing the 'bad team-mate' bs, so that the fans (many of whom are here) would support the boy genius/flunkie Yalie presumably in charge.

    I don't know, Contreras coming off one ejection and then tossing helmets and all that wrassling around, both guys getting 7 seems about right. Won't hurt us, who suck with or without him. But I don't want to be waatching every game wondering whether C will snap. Cavalli apologized (and who gives a f. whether sincere or not), Con claimed not to know there were any racist implications ... So fine. Let's play what little baseball is left.
