    Another costly 2 out blunder by Martinez , HBP moving a runner to 2nd with 2 outs followed by a double. No guts pitching and poor hitting.

    If Duran can't steal 2B , his longevity shortens. It is one of the reasons he is still around. OTOH, I am not a fan of running on 3-2 counts. If you are going, do it a couple pitches earlier

    Even if they do comeback do not expect much . Both are way behind the power curve for late season MLB

    I am traveling so not seeing the actual games, BUT, it occurs to me that in the Athletics series and now Jay's, most of the opponent runs have come with 2 outs, often no one on base. Sox pitchers and fielders then open the doors.
