going 7 would be a major accomplishment for him, the A's are without their two best hitters so it should be easier than the dodgers and he went 6 with them

Only Guerrero and Whitlock had low pitch counts but it would be their 3rd consecutive game.    Tolle needs to just throw strikes, let the A's swing away.

I expect a tired quiet effort tonight .

I wonder if the send somebody down? Send Weissert down and call up Gamboa for bulk innings. Send Gamboa down and callup Wehunt to start o Sunday for the bullpen game?

soxprospects.com's podcast said there might not be innings limits on Tolle and Bennett, but I doubt we see a complete game unless it's on 90 pitches.

It is baffling -- even after generous Red Sox fans all over New England who are taxi drivers, Uber drivers, bus drivers, train conductors, and tandem bicyclists offered to give Weissert a free ride to Woo.

They could easily DFA Brett Harris, I suppose.  Or Gasper.   Or put IKF or Mead to the 60 day…

Like I said above, bring up Gamboa today (he's supposed to start). Call up Wehunt for Sunday for the bullpen game and have him start (his scheduled start date).

I heard they were pushing everyone back a day to give the starter's a break. Maybe last night will change everyone's mind? IDK.

Have no idea why Rogers was batting under Mendoza but his presence and discipline at the plate look great to my ears in these 2 couple of games.
