If you want to feel really low today, Braden Montgomery hit a walk off tater in his first MLB game last night.

meanwhile, Crochet is on the 60 day IL for "lat tightness" after a horrendous ST and all of 6 starts (4 of them being awful) on this season. "lat tightness", yeah, sure. 😂

Ummm….  Sure.

Got yourself some homegrown  Columbian Bitcoin today, I see…

Very weak table-turner.  For the record I don't really think you're a daytime drinker in spite of the bad comparison of Gray and Durbin to Harrison and Bregman.

At least you got where it was going.

Day drinker? I don’t drink at all, despite my predilection for drug-and-alcohol based jokes.

Also I truly believe Durbin will be much better than he has been to date, Harrison will return to Earth, and Gray and Bregman will eventually fade into overpaid obscurity, but at least Gray will/should be elsewhere when that happens.

Durbin should be better than a 500 OPS going forward. How much better? IDK.

The worst part of the whole deal TBH!

That's why we need Adell to make up for losing My Man Meid

How can someone who doesn't drink watch these Red Sox?

Eat?

I just got back to Florida from a nearly 2 month road trip and the sale of my  second home. I had trouble catching Red Sox games but its just as well. What a shame that the Sox were unable to field a competitive team this year and acually have regressed relative to the competition. The fans here knew we needed a power bat or two and sensed we might not have the stellar pitching we had a times last season. Clearly we are now sellers of players and we should aim for better results next year. If we have prospects that are possible future high end players, now is the time to get them experience. The approach the team has used for the past few years has not worked. Is it ownership? is it management and coaching? I've been a fan since the 1940's and have seen the ups and downs along the way. I can say we are in a protracted down swing now.

What’s the promo for the Red Sox returning to Fenway? Come, and watch the Red Sox as they return to friendly Fenway where the RED Sox sport a 10-21 record, and are 12 games under 500 overall. Not to mention also there is only 1 team below them in the league in the Wildcard hunt. Come, and see the likes of the Great Gasper, IKF, and maybe even Eaton will make an appearance. Being there is twice the fun.

Let’s play Jeopardy. This team is led by the 12 pick in the 2023 HOBO draft. This team is 29th in MLB in runs scored. This team is LAST in HR in MLB. This team is 10-21 at home, and 12 games UNDER 500 for the season in a watered down weak league , and is a laughing stock throughout MLB. Sell it? Fire it?

First time 12 games under "in June." They have been 12 games under in other seasons later on (2020, 2015, 2014, etc.).

It's ownership, in my opinion.  And it's hiring CBOs with zero experience, hoping to get lucky it seems.

You can have a primary focus of avoiding underwater contracts and find yourself in last place.  In fact, most last place teams usually do spend every waking hour trying to avoid inefficient budget allocation.

i think with jeopardy you are supposed to just give the answer and let us guess the question.  Which you were on track to do until the very end there when you appended two questions to the answer and now Im not sure if im supposed to answer your questions at the end or give the team that you are alluding to.

And you posted this on a day when bottom third payroll teams in Tampa, Milwaukee and Chicago (AL) are all in first place while MLB’s top spending team sits in last place…

You really think the Sox are the laughingstock of MLB?  Or are you just throwing that phrase around for effect?
