I think there is some benefits to telling the kids that this is your team, and that you guys deserve the opportunity to finish the ride.

Good thoughts/feelings.   Whoever had high expectations for Story and Mayer ignored that both have been injury prone big time.  The only two guys we really miss from last season are Chochet and Anthony.  

No problem with Mead pushing someone aside.  He'll be lucky to make it back in September.  Rutschman should be back a lot sooner and will be needed with Narvaez traded.
