honestly, at this point, starting pitching should be the focus.

Apparently those two innings wuth the 2018-19 Adelaide Bite were more impressive than I realized.
 

By the way, no commentary on the awesomeness of the team moniker “Adelaide  Bite”? I mean, I’m over hear imagining their giant teeth-related mascot and scouring the Internet for jerseys…

I saw that, and I don’t like it. Durbin is very good with the glove at 3B and Meade is better at 2nd than he is at 3B.  
 

they didn’t say when Durbin said that.  Was the team specifically targeting a third baseman? Or did they cast a wide net and target infielder looking for the best bat/deal combo? If it’s the later Durbins comments might just be him being the opposite of Raffy Devers

More Data: Read through those graphics top one is his spray chart overlayed on Fenway (does not take into account height of baseball when crossing 310 foot threshold) bottom one is his expected HR’s if Fenway was home ballpark. (Does take fence height into consideration)
 

My take guy is gonna lead league in doubles… HR #’s might drop slightly but I’m here for it all. Finally a bat at 2b

Are the same people complaining about Brez upset we didn't trade Tolle?

BTW, one other name from last year was Early, and we ended up trading him a year later.

The year before the names were Anthony, Mayer and KC. Looking back on them now, some of many might have wished we did trade them (at peak value.)

It's not an easy call to make.

The talk now (after Early's trade and before) is Arias and Eyanson.

Look at how many got upset when the talk of trading Duran even after his great 2024 season continued. That was largely based on the belief he was not suspect, anymore.

Durbin is likely an outstanding 2Bman, too, but I like the idea of not messing with moving him.

That's only if they choose to ignore the prospects that have succeeded.  I'll often just shake my head and move on.
