No in all seriousness, while this may not be the move to fire up the duck boats this guy did hit .970 last year vs. LHP.  A lot of the big names being traded will probably still stay on the board for another week or two.  It makes sense to roll this guy out against LHP as our DH for the next couple weeks and see if he can find that 2025 magic.  If not.....he won't be here long.

Well, I don't think they brought him in if they thought he'd have a 506 OPS vs LHP going forward this year. If he does, they'll also DFA him.

They must hope he reverts to 2025 numbers. That may be a better hope than Duran revrting to 2024 numbers.

He's a platoon bat, at best and may be DFA'd by the deadline.

BTV gives Duran a value of $8M. It accepts a trade of Duran to HOU for Janek and Blubaugh, but I'd do it for one.

BTV accepts Story and Duran for Lindor, but to me the $$$ cost would be too costly.
