I give a lot of $ to MLB for mlb.tv and it's annoying to get locked out of several games every month. Not sure what I'll do about games going forward. 🏴‍☠️

If you want to, subscribe to Apple+ for a 7 day trial then cancel right after the game.  A bit of a pain and I’m not going to do it, but it is an option.

If DET wins first two, they are in. They'd have zero incentive to win that last game. 

It's more likely that the Sox lose tonight AND the Astros lose tonight and then Pumpsie complains for the next 6 months that they backed into the playoffs because the last two games of the regular season didn't matter at that point for the FLOPS regardless of what happens.

4 hits isn't going to get it done.  The Blue Jay relievers got it done.  Bello's ERA in September alone was 5.85.  Cora should have pulled him after 5.

It was Bello's last game of the season, and despite walking his usual tightrope, he had a shutout through 5. I figured Cora would leave him in until/if the Sox took the lead -- and then go to his good bullpen. AC rightly knew Bello, until he was cooked, was a better option than the two guys who coughed up gopher balls in relief.

Management knows it just needs one win to get in. The Sox will keep Whitlock and Chapman in reserve until it's absolutely time to absolutely clinch.

I think one thing we can all agree on is all the streaming services and sports/entertainment providers divvying up among them, they are working together to bone us.

I have Peacock, Paramount, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Prime, HBO and now I need ESPN universal too, which happens to cost more than the rest of them combined

I get HBO through Dash Pass (great deal), I have Disney+/Hulu bundle at $13, peacock is like $7, Paramount is like $9, Prime is like what these days, $11

And wrestling wants me to keep Peacock for NXT, cable for Smackdown, Netflix for RAW, now I have to pay $40/month for the PLEs. COme on man.

You can only do that once. I did it for a game earlier this year so I am SOL for tonights game. Kind of a rip off for those of us who paid for MLB and expected to see all the out of market games.
