Hope Kershaw’s arm breaks off Dave Dravecky style.

Only after he gives up some runs, though.

7 righties, including Toro, in the lineup tonight.  Lefties are Anthony and Duran.    Narvaez back after 2 days rest.  Rafaela back in CF.  Ref DH.

Last night's 36,369 was a thousand short of a sellout.

Stunning pitching matchup.  Kershaw gets the nod because of the Dodgers lineup.

The Dodgers have 5 guys at .747 or lower in tonight's line-up. We have two.

Don't just look at the glitzy top 2-3 batters to determine who has the better line-up. (They do have 4 guys over .820, while we have 3, balance beats a couple or three beasts.

Against lefties, the Dodgers Hernandez OPS is .984, Smith .952, Kim .933, Ohtani .902, Rojas .832, Pages .760, Ruiz .750, Freeman .703, and Edman .710.

For the Sox vs lefties, Gonzalez 1.065, Bregman .988, Ref .933, Narvaez .835, Rafaela .769, Story .688, Toro .641, Duran .551, and Anthony .526.

The numbers, which are falling off, may persuade you into believing the Sox have a good offense, but my eyes say different.

I’d like to see us get a nice bat for 1B, but not overpay for one. Platoon Romy with Yoshida and Ref with Abreu and trade Duran plus for Ryan- Maybe Keller

One would think--and I sure hope so.  He has come through so many times this season.

All talk Bres.

Come on!  He got rid of Rafy and put 30Million annually into his pocket!   That definitely helped the RedSox organization, maybe not the team, but (reading these posts) who cares about that?

I swear some of you just think we only have to decide a trade and it happens.

Two huge trades this year so far. You might disagree with one of them but to call him all talk is idiotic.
