Cora should have pulled out Whitlock. This vote of confidence nonsense is costing winnable games. Everybody saw this coming after the second walk. He was done. He lacks of control. His fastball never was in strike zone. Not even close. Send him down already. He’s completely lost.

How many games is Whitlock going to blow? He is not the same pitcher he was before the Sox ruined him trying to make him a starter.

I think it’s more like we’re seeing why the Yankees left him unprotected.  His arm is fragile, and multiple surgeries have extended his career, but apparently didn’t improve it…

Whitlock and Houck are best friends. Keep them together. Send them down.

Everyone thought Whitlock would be a star in relief. All he had to do was not start.

Well he sucks. He's very hittable. Period.

Cora strikes again. Don't want our pitcher to struggle through and overcome. Must protect fragile psyches.

Cora seems to ignore who he can trust.  Bernardino, Weissert, Hendriks and Wilson have given him a combined 20 innings without an earned run in the last two weeks.  So who is in facing the white hot Javy Baez with men on base?

I don't know who's worse; Houck, Whitmore or whoever put this new forum format together.

How dare you disparage legendary actor James Whitmore!!!

I thought maybe this team would be better. I was wrong. It’s just more of the same. Enjoy the rest of this loss.

He was in a hard to find film called The Monk. I always liked him as an actor.

And, you know, The Shawshank Redemption…

I’ve been very vocal about Hamilton because he’s been very sloppy at defense, and couldn’t hit to save his life. I need to see more to change my statement though.

IMHO, that movie is in the top 5 of the greatest American films.

I have to agree.... at least top 10.

Great to see Hamilton jump on Kahnle's famous Changeup.   BTW,  how is it a change up if that is almost all he throws ?  His FB would be the change up.

Devers, with 2 on, found it challenging
