I’ve been very vocal about Hamilton because he’s been very sloppy at defense, and couldn’t hit to save his life. I need to see more to change my statement though.

It was weird how he had looked awful at SS, then looked very good at 2B, last year, and then this year like a different player.

The guy has shown some power, but speed is his strength.

I think he averages about 15 HRs per 650, career. Not great, but not awful.

Great to see Hamilton jump on Kahnle's famous Changeup.   BTW,  how is it a change up if that is almost all he throws ?  His FB would be the change up.

Devers, with 2 on, found it challenging

I know, right.

I will say, knocking 8-10 mph off a pitch can mess with a hitter’s timing.  For Cleveland closet Doug Jones racked up like 300 career saves throwing changeup after changeup…

IMHO, that movie is in the top 5 of the greatest American films.

I watch it everytime its on, which is a lot.

At one time, Houck and Whitlock looked to have the nastiest stuff on the staff and appeared unhittable for some pretty long stretches.

Now this...

Big thanks to Stephen King

And the very underappreciated Clancy Brown.

That guy sneaks into everything…

Everyone in that movie was exemplary.

Brown deserved an Oscar nomination…

Maybe Anthony should replace Duran. Only kidding I think.

The emergence of Abreu does have me thinking Duran is the best trade bait.

But no rush to promote Anthony.  If you deal away an OF, and promote Anthony, then who takes over for the next injury? Trayce Thompson?

6th pitcher of the night for the Sox. We better win, cause we'll have nobody for tomorrow night's game.

Doesn't matter who we run out there vs Skubal.   Actually need to win the one we are playing now

Hanging changeup when he throws 95mph. That makes sense.

I don't notice Narvaez calling for changeups from Chapman,  but many of recent game losing hits have come from off speed semi-breakers with 2 strikes on the hitter.
