Yep. We have John Holobetz in minors from Brewers in Priester trade. He is going to be a big league starter soon. Crochet, Bennett, Suarez and Tolle are 4/5 of a rotation for the next 4 years. The Sox have depth at SP. They needed a catcher who can hit.

Ya’ll might be too young to remember a swap way before divisional play.  Sox needed a power bat, the got a guy named Danny Cater and gave up a pitcher who you may have heard of…Spark Lyle.   See ya later Danny Cater got a grand total of 5 hrs in his time with the Sox.

If we have to go back 60 years for a comparable deal, then we were due.

I would have only gone back to Bill Lee for Stan Papi.  Or better yet, Larry Andersen for Bagwell…

What’s that got to do with evaluators voicing their opinions? I don’t think mine changes theirs, or others out there that are voicing their opinions, which so far haven’t been favorable. I’m waiting to see how things work out. It doesn’t hurt anything at the moment, but since AR is injured it doesn’t help anything either.
