NESN just showed the graphic with Boston leading the world in worst home record.

I dare them to replay for the thousandth time the ad where Crochet says, "It feels like we got something special here."

9-19 is special.

As in "Wasn't that special?"

Grissom hit well in Atlanta and is getting on base in LAA often. He’s better than anybody here right now at 2B. He’s disciplined at plate with a good glove.

Yes, he is hitting .227. He would be a star on this team. Great trade.

Are you saying it was a good trade?

Chapman is being wasted on this team. He should be the first player the FO should trade. Should be able to get a couple of very good prospects from a contending team for him.

problem is....i don't trust Breslow to make a trade on a fantasy league team. knowing him, he'll trade Chapman for another AAAA utiltyman that can't hit, field, run or throw.

Remember there’s no business like Brez business #12 in the HOBO draft. What do you expect for a 12th round draft pick?

Henry and the FO can't deal now . It looks too much like they are failures and quitting on the rest of the season when all we need is just some lucky hits .

It will be socially correct to move Chappie in early July and get a bigger price when the Sox are firmly on the way to a sub 70 season .  That will be about the time Anthony and Crochet return.  Don't fool yourself, those 2 will not be playing MLB in June..

Red Sox are keeping him fresh for trade by not having any late inning leads for him to protect.

Greg W getting seriously booed, deservedly.

He fully showed on yaz that he is a thrower, not a pitcher.

I didn't watch the debacle. I checked the final score-10-2. Strong work! Another loss was necessary. We need to keep losing to improve our draft position after BresLOW gets fired. I am heartened to hear that the fans FINALLY started booing this team. Henry owes us an apology for the feces he allowed to represent what use to be a great franchise.

Another fun game.... NOT!

Tolle had some bad luck, early- one by his own missed chance at the rocket hit back at him and later the bloop hit Duran almost got to.

The granny was the kiss of death. The pen issue is showing up more and more as the season goes on.

I'm not sure how much longer we can keep looking this bad. I keep thinking it can't get worse, and we lose 5 of 6.

It wasn’t just booing today either it was also chanting of SELL THE TEAM.👏

The pen issue keeps showing up, because for the most part the starters aren’t going very long. Bringing Weissert in to give up that granny was on Tracy.

Good to hear. Hopefully if people do show up at games they will repeat the same thing. Better yet BOYCOTT Fenway Park this year. Nothing would speak the language Henry the Cheap needs to hear than an empty park.

Absolutely no. On other post I said I would have given one more year to Sale considering he was going to be healthy on paper again and see for once and for all if he had something left in that tank. The rest is history. He won a CY and he keeps racking up.

BUT, once you had Grissom, you had to give him a chance at MLB level at least 2 full seasons and see like they did with Duran and now with Rafaela. They gave up too soon. IMO he will be a 750 hitter at the very least with a golden glove clip.

He's having an awful time. He was okay, last year, but yuck-a-ddodle-doo.

Lose to get a better draft position?  But the best draft position is only one unknown prospect better than the worst draft position.  So you're saying that there's one teenager out there who will turn this around?  I know it's a radical thought, but if you want to get better, keep your best players.

BTW don’t be surprised if Anthony is done for the season.

I'd be more surprised if he played the rest of the season w/o going on the IL again. This dude would probably get injured playing chess.

And yet if he helped stranded and kidnapped children  get back home at that rate, you’d think he was some kind of hero.

It’s all about perspective, I guess…

Tanking for draft position in baseball is bad enough, but it still won’t resolve their complaints that Henry doesn’t spend enough money…

Why we call up guys like Tayron Guerrero and Jack Anderson while an actual major leaguer like Tommy Kahnle sits in Worcester,  forced to subside on Sole Proprietor meals,  is beyond me…

Henry doesn't spend enough money but the buffoons [Bloom, Breslow,] have WASTED significant $$ on low risk re-hab pitchers and the like.

Kahnle & Samaniego.

In some ways, this season reminds me of 2022.

After failing with signings like Martin Perez, Richards and other, Bloom had his best winter of SP'er additions with Wacha and Hill, but we got worse- way worse.

This winter, Brez seemingly did well adding Contreras, Suarez & Gray, but we got worse- way worse.

Of course, other holes we not addressed in both cases, but when you compare just the winter moves made between pre-2019 and pre-2026, two of the best appear to be before 2022 and before 2026.
