Missing significant time in 40% of post COVID seasons due to quad injuries isn't being injury prone?

It's only going to get worse as he gets older.

No, it’s not.  Christian Arroyo was injury prone. Bregman is no Arroyo.

As for it getting worse, that is pure speculation on your part.  You might be right, but you also could be wrong (I know, that’s hard for you to fathom).

IMO, his contract demands exceed his worth.  A .275 lifetime hitter without a ton of power isn’t worth $40M.  He’s a good player, he’s not a superstar.  I foresee a repeat of last year where he signs in February somewhere.

Coming off the injury isn’t going to help him in this regard, but his career performance is what will drive the $

Whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess.

It's total money not AAV, if he did even think that. Devers is owed about $240M/8.

Bregman might get $120M/4 andBellinger might get close to the same.

Breslian Logic always makes my head spin.  But since there is rarely a connection between Breslow's words (whatever they mean, if anything) and his thoughts (to the extent that they are at all coherent), it's probably not worthwhile to critique either.

I've always thought the other talking heads in the Sox organization that spin our heads- not so much Brez (or Cora.)

To me, it's  that "Yale-speak", which has always irritated the crap out of me.

In other words he spews out a bunch of words, but really doesn’t say very much.

He says enough that you can come back later and say "well, why the hell did you say THAT?"

We need to get Alonso.  The team has little to no power.  The young guys seemed to melt during the dog days.  Alonso is a gamer with power throughout the year.

Some melted, but trading Devers in June and watching Anthony and Abreu go on the IL didn't help, either.

I agree. We need Alonso, Schwarber, Suarez or K Marte.

Bregman & Hoskins is not enough.

Bichette & O'Hearn the same.

Polanco & Naylor may not be either.
