About the same war as Bregman for a fraction of the cost!!

You don't hear all the sign Bregman crowd bringing up his name anymore.

The sign Bogey crowd has been silent for years.

When Brez makes a mistake, the name of that player is broadcast far and wide and often.

Yes that’s the way it works in the here, and now world.

The Sox are now second in the AL in run differential, recently passing the TBR and CWS. Only the Yanks remain ahead of us, but without Judge the gap is closing quickly.

The Sox are 7th in all MLB in this area.

3 runs behind PIT

19 behind the Cubs

42 behind the NYY

Why Neto over Abram’s?

Neto is a dumpster fire defensively and we are finally getting the dumpster fire defenders out of here or on the DL!!!!

Bres-slow seems to have a knack for acquiring middling nebulas starting/relieving pitchers at the trade deadline and then using them as part of a package to get a quality player in the offseason (see Harrison and hicks)

there should be a couple of these  middling nebulas starter/reliever pitchers available now!!

Trading Bennet would certainly need the further addition of a SP'er, even just a rental.

Trading a pitcher limited by IP, this year, also makes sense if we want to advance into the playoffs.

we dont trade any of the young SP on our roster and i don't trade Witherspoon or Evanyson either.  we waited way too long to get young quality cost controlled SP to trade it away especially for a SS when we have Mayer and Arias coming.

Durbin is the face of the team's turnaround, although he started hitting before the wwins started coming. He has been amazing on defense, too.

This mental toughness is stuff that builds championship rosters. If him and WC 40 become the leaders in the clubhouse. I like our odds in the next couple of years.

To have the type of start, Durbin had in Boston…..  I think there are very few people, who would just put their heads down and stay the course. I know I would’ve folded like a cheap tent. Durbin is to me the coolest story of the 2026 season for sure.

I think that’s a beyond exaggeration. To say he is a dumpster fire that implies he’s terrible. I think he’d be a wonderful. Second base for the Red Sox for years to come.

he has certainly been good for a while now and his D has been great too.

DRS says Neto is more than fine on D. OAA says the opposite.

Neto is in the bottom 2% for range this year, but Abrams still managed to limbo underneath him.

Neto also has a better arm and a Fenway swing…

He’s saving runs without making outs!

Since we also need a 2Bman, I'm not sure we need to focus on just their D at SS.

Hey hey, KC has a 7 game hit streak going, and I think he's like 5 for his last 8 ABs with some walks.

That 's great maybe he is tradable now.

KC's real problem. especially as an OF'er is where would he play ? Can't see him as a DH

You don’t hear a Man Behind The Curtain keep regurgitating Devers Forevers, Devers Forevers, Devers Forevers either.🤔

I've thought DH for a while, but of course he has to hit and hit well.

I thought the Sox were looking for a RH power bat. The wall is closer than the BP.

They are, but we also need power.

My suggestion has been RHB Jeffers to C and BLowe at 2B.

Ideally, we get a real SS.

Curtis Mead??? Make this make sense???

Seems as though the rest of you have lives outside of RS baseball on a Sat. Night. Good bat to ball skills…. Pull air % 22% career high
351 OBP %.

856 Ops hit really well in Nationals stadium.

On fire in July over 1000 ops,

had a Duran like June (673 OPS) .190 BA

idk can he play 2nd? Or are we moving Durbin to 2nd? He is not good defensively -8.1 on Fielding run value… Range 1% and 10% arm not good.  AI thinks he projects 18-22 hrs a year at Fenway fwiw.

Isaac Paredes not available?

You don’t trade SP especially 25 and younger

Harrison Preister now Early for garbage!

Pitching is what got you back in race now you deplete the Staff with the talk of Crochet not returning this year.

one step forward two back

fools gold

The healthy starting pitching staff is definitely depleted. They must believe  Suarez is going to be ok soon!

Other moves coming??
