Surprised the Sox hottest hitter isn't in the lineup. But I shouldn't be surprised knowing how much Cora loves platooning.

Cora just goes to his computer, and this lineup is what spit out.

Most of the times I don't like what Cora does but at least he's consistent today going with all those RHB. Fried is an elite LHP so this time I agree with Cora. Also, we are one of the best offenses if not the best against LHP, aren't we?

Sox rank 26th in hitting against LH's.

Two Pivettaboutits back-to-back have given the Cubs a 2-1 lead against the Padres in the bottom of the 5th.

He was putting a clinic before that.

At least that's what NESN told me this morning.

I also heard no so long time ago we were pretty good against LHP, and while you might be right, I think I have some good memories against LHP, but probably it's just me especially when Rommy and Ref were in the lineup along with Bergman, Story and even Narvaez.

Instant runs via the longball may be why you shouldn't have your clean-up man sac bunting at the beginning of the game -- like SD's Shildt did today.

Don't get me wrong, bunting drove in the winning run for Detroit today, but that came in the 7th inning.

Cora might not bunt tonight, but at least we know he'll order Sogard or Eaton to tap a one-stitch bouncer on the grass when it matters (trying not to open my first beer until the first pitch...).

This team has become a running joke with the injuries. My goodness. I don’t know if i have any urge to watch . Lost a key starter.

When Sox players travel for road games, they all have to be double boxed.

ESPN opening: one shot each of Crochet, Bregman, Story and Fried. Seven shots of Judge.

Ok, let's go.

Commercial over. There's Judge again in the dugout, Now he's running onto the field. He's having a catch!

hey... Max Fried is on the mound

ESPN has the volume up so loud on the crowd that I can't hear half of what the announcers are saying. But that's ok since I 'll be muting all of them soon anyway.

And that’s a bad thing?
