i'd rather buy a FA this winter than deal part of the future. of those listed, i could part with Mayer. but that's it, unless it was a lesser prospect.

I think we all would, but until we see JH spend again, I'm done hoping, wishing or expecting it to happen.

Also, the best option might be to do both.

If the plan is to move O’Neill because he isn’t hitting, what team would be interested?

It's not like teams aren't paying attention to recent events, but I'm also not so sure a player's value changes much over a 60 PA sample size- good or bad.

BTV accepts Justin Slaten for Jack Flaherty, realistically they may want another prospect in the trade. Maybe a lower level guy.

Slaten/BJordan.

I'd do this in a heartbeat.

Isn't Slaten hurt right now? Not that the Tigers need a pitcher today, but they may not want damaged goods.

possibly, possibly they jump on it. or not.

We need 2 SP'ers and a RP'er. (At worst, 1 very good SP'er and 2 RP'ers.) Forget the RHB.

2.54 Houck

3.04 Crawford

3.87 Pivetta

Then what?

4.50 Criswell

5.32 Bello

(3.27 Wink, but just 5 GS)

Martin and Slaten are on the IL.

2.16 Jansen

1.96 Kelly

2.53 Bernardino (slump)

2.90 Booser (sustainable?)

3.27 Wink (needed in rotation?)

4.32 Weissert

4.59 Anderson

the facts undisputed are that Yorke and Jordan are NOT MLB players. The other fact is that Anthony is still too young and needs more time. Move him to AAA first. As for Teal with way Wong is performing there is no need to call him up yet unless it is in garbage time in Sept. I am fine with bringing Mayer up anytime. THOSE are the facts UNDISPUTED !!

How many games have you watched Yorke play ?

I rest my case

Lmmfao!

Another lazy arse post!

Do your homework, better yet look at his last 5 starts

You do not trade for aging Players with an injury history a mile long

You do not trade for players with a “Vesting Option” at any cost

There is a reason vesting options are given

Those are the facts and the facts are undisputed

How many times a day do you stare at yourself in the mirror with a little finger mustache and say "Those are the facts!!!! and the FACTS! are undisputed" in a deep voice?????

Lmao!

That’s why you’re not in baseball ops!

Flaherty is 30, one hit wonder in 24 , Orioles didn’t keep him what’s that tell you?

I rest my case with Jordan

Slaton deal was a steal from Mets

26 year old who has shown dominance on the mound

You continue the development with the players I just mentioned

I’m going to send this trade proposal to Epstein, I’ll let you what he says!

Anthony, fitts, Guerrero and blies for crochet !!!!!

We should get Crochet and Fedde for that plus Valdez and Lugo.

Two starters for two real prospects and four throw ins???

Okay, make the "throw-ins" Fitts, Sandlin, Lugo and Meidroth.

Did you miss the first two Dodgers games? Of course you didn't, but you seem to have forgotten that both games were quality starts--yes, quality starts--by Pivetta and Bello. And right now the Sox two best starters are Houck and Crawford.

The bullpen, meanwhile, is a disaster--including closer Jansen, who was lucky not to get the loss as well as the blown save tonight.

Max, no two games decide what a team is or what they need.

Houck and Crawford are at or heading towards shattering their career highs in IP for a regular season. If we make the playoffs, add 5-25 more innings.

Adding 2 SP'ers sends Criswell to the pen to eat innings and help others in the pen. Going to a 6 man rotation eases the innings on the starters we already have.

I'm not against adding a RP or two, as well, or 1 solid SP'er and 2 RP'ers.

Maybe not, but these last two games shows without a healthy Martin in that 8th inning they definitely need help there.
