It's not just the media that hates them.

Also, ST is boring to the point that any little thing is a big deal. These guys need to fill their columns somehow.

Oh c'mon - who else could possibly hate these two lovable mutts? You've got to think that this was money well spent don't you?

@sean_mcadam: Both Chris Young and Pablo Sandoval have reported; that leaves Ortiz and Pedroia as only missing position players.

Jeez, trade the midget already.

Also, the most annoying part of ST is media calling it "The Fort."

Says he lost all kinds of weight. Farrell said he looks real good. If he looks over his shoulder, he'll find all of that weight he lost.

If I could, I'd put those two mutts in the backseat and drive them to the vet to be PTS. We can tell kimmi that they are playing ball at a nice farm upstate.

Farreell is a chubby chaser. Not a problem in real life, but not an optimal choice for a MLB manager. Probably has a Greg Luzinski poster in his locker.

We could let them out on somebody's lawn and beat a hasty retreat back to Boston. They aren't bright enough to find their own way back.

Hey now. Sandoval isn't stupid. He's just fat and addicted to his phone. Hanley on the other hand I wouldn't stick my hand out defending.

You know, I actually had a revelation the other day that we should trade Pedey. Last year I thought you were crazy because the kid inside of me was still inspired by him and his story, and how physically, we're almost the same. He was also the longest tenured homegrown Sox player that I remember debuting. But, looking back, he's kind of overrated and has been relatively injury prone. The biggest reason why we should keep him is because at least right now, I don't think we can get a better, more loyal 2B.

So Hanley went home already, and Pablo is denying that anyone asked him to lose weight in the offseason.

Meanwhile, Ortiz and Pedroia haven't shown up yet. Anyone else feeling worried about the season ?

The Life of Pablo (Sandoval): Cheeseburgers

I'm betting he packs away some of them dough nuts I have heard about. I could not have him in my home. My beer supply would be in jeopardy.

Don't be led astray by mvp78's strange obsession with trading Pedroia.

Pablo told the team he'd show up today. He did not.

Re: Pablo Sandoval. I think Boston might be the only market where a player risks getting ripped if he doesn't report early.

I don't often agree with Shaughnessy, but he is spot on with this tweet.

So Hanley decided to go home to Miami for a few days.

That's dedication for you.

I agree that this does not present well for Hanley.

Stories already firing up around these two guys again? the media boys and girls must just hate them. Stirring up all of this angst in us fans (lol). Can't be anything to it. Only could happen in Boston right. give them a break - they are just a couple of misunderstood superstars. On the other hand we got Price (remember we grossly overpaid for him) staying late and doing what he can to be the best teammate he can be. We just need to cut them some slack. We are the ones with the issues here right?

Haters gonna hate.

@peteabe: Hopefully Pablo has his own glove or people will really will be upset.

PA is hilarious. I love his sense of humor.
