An adjustment with our staff is needed, but I think it can be seemless.

 

I'm not worried about him adjusting to the staff. I'm worried about him staying healthy first and foremost.

It's fine. I get to watch a ton of MiLB games as well. 

I also listen to a bunch of Sox podcasts: the TalkSox ones, SoxProspects, Section 10, Fenway Rundown, 310 to Left. There are some national podcasts like Effectively Wild, Batting Around and Baseball America that I listen to. 

I don't think my viewing/listening habits are much different than when I lived in MA TBH.

I do have Sirius radio (bought the lifetime subscription back in 2003 for $400) which makes for listening on commutes.  Baseball is the only sport that works on radio…

Once again, I hated seeing two promising young pitching prospects traded but one thing that I don’t think has been mentioned - Do some of you think that we will never get a healthy Crochet back, how about Oviedo and Houck?  I’m assuming we will at some point either this year or next.  I like their chances of being more productive than either of the promising rookies traded.  We got a beast back in the Mayer trade- a guy that will help us right now.  I don’t think that we sacrificed much with respect to the future.

Adley is a great pickup. We've been searching for years for our next "Varitek." But Ad's a better hitter.

Crochet should be healthy again. Houck? Is he even a rotation guy anymore? Oviedo is probably a bullpen guy too at this point. Can't count on permanent IL fixtures to provide anything to rotation, even depth. Just look at Kutter! We're all waiting for him to rehab in Worcester any day now...

Narvaez's GF has caused a bunch of drama in a few orgs. Narvaez left his ex who was financially supporting him after she found out he was cheating on her. The new GF is generally disliked by most of the wives and she's been running down Narvaez's ex and saying personal things about the ex's childhood.
