If it were up to me , he'd be going back to Woo just to send a message to the rest of the team.

You just can't keep making killer mistakes like that.  Where was well rested Whitlock ?

They love resting the back end guys and not using them for weeks on end.

With Doubles Durbin 2nd yard shot, it reinforces my thought on sending Slaten away for training.

No excuses

After hitting is second tater of the day, Durbin went from last in OPS to 3rd from the bottom for BOS, leaping Story and Narvaez.

So Durbin goes for alternate hitting advice and now looks much better.

Long way to go but, it's a start,  just a little late

Yea a little bit of stat padding at the end, but as they said back in my old Navy days sweepers, sweepers man your BROOMS.

At least Durbin didn't go quietly.

Got his Ave above 200, and hit his homers against a regular pitcher.👏

Every position player should just do the same and tell whoever is on the payroll as a hitting coach/instructor to go to hell.  What’s Breslow going to do, demote/DFA them all?

tomorrow Brez will announce that he's signing Dustbin to a 12 year, $144m deal, so he can "lock him up" and thereby save JOhn Henry some money. because, ya' know....that's winning to that old f***.

they should have hired Don Mattingly, who has led his team to the best record in baseball since taking over the Phillies one day after Rob Thomson was fired and two days after Alex Cora was fired.

Breslow would not have hired Mattingly in a million years; he wants no one around who won’t kow tow to his “brilliance”.

Mattingly would never have accepted the job even if it somehow had been offered.  He knows a cl**terf€***k when he sees it.

Now not hiring Mattingly because of his Yankee stench would be a legit reason.

Like Thomson before him, Mattingly basically inherited a bunch of underperforming all stars.

Why do the Phillies just take April off every few years? To clean out the manager’s office?

As I have been saying for about 2 weeks now - Durbin is getting better…

According to an unnamed poster, we're not supposed to worry about his last few appearances.

Did you really think Cedric Mullens was going to go an entire series against Boston without a home run?

Low bar set by himself but if we could see that incremental improvement all around , it would be easier to root for these guys.

Maybe Rafaela is doing that but still very streaky as is Duran.
