Only if the Yankees win, right? 😉

If they lose hopefully it's an early blow out, that way I avoid about six innings of s***** commentary

Then turn the sound off or listen to the calls from the NESN radio crew.

not a great pitching match-up

Meh.  Last night was supposed to be a good pitching matchup and was anything but.  Final score, 10-7.   I'm glad Crochet went 6 innings, but he did give up 5 runs, including a 3 run dinger in the 1st.

One thing I always wished they'd come up with is an option to mute the announcers but not the sounds of the game.

Great point!!  Nothing like the sounds of a baseball game and the crowd watching it.  But in all honesty I think you only get those when you are part of the crowd.

ESPN is horrible. And Karl Ravech is the worst of the worst.

At least they got A Rod off of there.

There is a vast difference in watching on TV as opposed to being in the ballpark. Being in the ballpark is a thousand times better. Sadly, TV is where most of us see the games these days. And we miss a lot.

It will be interesting to see if the Sox can deal with Rodon as well as they did with Yarbrough. They really feasted on the soft stuff that Yarbrough was throwing up there. They will need to adjust to Rodon.

I'm looking forward to watching Dobbins. The team is 4-3 in games started by Dobbins. Here's our current rotation.

8-6 The Wheel (yesterday made up for all of his losses in no run support)

5-4 The Opener

4-3 140 Innings or Bust

6-4 Ferris

Ok, I'll admit. It's nice having Toro right now. He can play both corner positions and he's a switch hitter.

We go lefty lefty, then 7 righties. Great to have options.

Cora understands the excitement surrounding Anthony.

“I think every market goes through this, right?” Cora said. “I think Kansas City (with No. 19 prospect Jac Caglianone) went through it, right, the last two months or whatever it was. I bet there’s other teams that have good players in the minor leagues and their fan base and people are gonna talk about it. So that’s part of the job.”

No other team has a #1 prospect Alex. Hell, it's not up to him. He has no idea when the call up is coming. Why doesn't he just say it's not up to me?

One of the networks tried that experiment years ago. It was terrible!!!!

Game over

What a disgusting awful team. Just unwatchable

Last night Crochet gave up a 3 run dinger in the 2d inning and 5 runs in 6 IP.  How did that turn out?

To me the 2025 are not disgusting, awful, or unwatchable.  What was that line from the Money Pit?  The Tom Hanks character tells his fiancee "we have weak trees."  Well, this year the Sox have weak arms.

Caglianone started the season in AA, moved to AAA for about a week and then up to KC about a week ago. his dumbass is covering for the clowns in the front office.

Crochet isn’t pitching tonight. A bum is on the mound and the Yankees have a real pitcher out there tonight

It’s over. We might score a run or two but we will never catch up.
