The veteran saw the kid swinging at a lot of ball 4s and took advantage of it.  Kid will learn.

Can’t complain about the pitching in this series.  13 runs in 4 games; I’ll take that all season.

Devers pouting all spring training is going to be a factor for a while; he’s never been a fast starter, and now essentially he’s in Ft. Myers mode.  Bright side is he only struck twice today.

They need to fix this quickly. You just can’t fool around in this division. Last year it was pretty much the same inconsistency. Started 7-3 only to go 10-10. 17-13 the first 30 games.

Sox are heading to Baltimore next. That's a hard series to win. 2-5 start seems like a possibility. Teams can't win the season in March/April, but they can certainly lose it if they dig a big enough hole. However it's still March so I don't think any team should be worried yet.
