I didn’t read much about spring training nor pay much attention to it, but I do know he was delayed getting to Florida and then HE pushed his start date back even further.  There’s been no mention of injury and we know he wasn’t happy about being moved off of 3rd.  I don’t put pouting out of the question.

 What is the evidence for 'pouting'?  More translations of statements analyzed by people who do not speak the language?   Anyway, RS have now successfully turned Devers into a bad player.  Nice job.  He was once one of the best in the league.

After the first four games, two stats stand out--

1.  All 12 of the Rangers runs were scored off the starters and some of that falls on Cora who announced he would use his starters as much as possible to save his bullpen.  The Rangers manager took the opposite approach.

2.  The Sox hitters were 7/41 with RISP.  So the hitting stinks--especially by those who are paid the big bucks.
