Bello deserved better support than he got tonight. Let's stop picking up washed up players who are flexible in they don't play anything well.

After one of his first few starts, I tongue and cheek suggested that Bello might want to go back to the minors where he'd get better defensive support.

 

They've played like s*** behind him ever since he came up. They don't score for him, they don't field for him. Yeah, the kid needs to work on being more efficient, but he needs some help from his teammates.

Bello's stuff is insane. Yanks definitely chased him a bit and their ABs were almost non competitive. Give credit to the kid, although I think the Yanks would adjust when they see him again. He front doored a few breaking balls, but for the most part if the ball was coming in on a righty, it was gonna dive further in and needs to be taken. Multiple batters started swinging at sinkers that looked to be heading in off the plate and they went turbo and were unhittable
