yeah, all those walks and HBPs are probably due to bad luck.

3 HBP in 5 Innings? That's an unsustainable rate for him!

They got smoked because of how the team was constructed on April 1, not because of the trade deadline. Trading for a 3rd starter wasn't winning them this series.

Then you're not blaming Bloom for badly constructing the team on April 1st or failing to bring in any useful reinforcements at the deadline? So he never gets blamed for anything? How Convenient! You might as well give him a contract for life because Bloom is now Blameless!!

Did you say brainless? Wait til next year or maybe the next or the next or a few more until things become sustainable. We'll show em what we can do for cheap.

It’s pretty obvious to most Red Sox fans that Bloom is pretty much responsible period for everything from construction of the team to start the season to not getting any pitching, before, or at the deadline. The word in NE, and on the street, and anywhere else you venture in RSN is a lot different than you get mostly on here. Now is the future, and not what might happen in 2024, and beyond.

Good for you and them.

I'm glad choices on roster construction is not a democracy by fan votes.

Unfortunately it’s not good for me, them, or most important the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

Only if the majority is right.

Only if the majority is right.

The OVERWHELMING majority isn’t always right, but probably more often the the vast minority.

You think so?

BTW, what does vast minority mean?

The vast majority of Sox fans hated what was going on at the start of the 2023 season. Hell, many were bitching halfway into 2007 and after the Nomar trade in 2004.

Glad to know you can pat each other's back, so often across the vast Sox Nation landscape you traverse.

When you actually live in the Nation, and go out, and talk to other people in the Nation on a daily basis I would say you get a better vibe of what’s out there more so than what you get when you live from afar. Not to mention the local papers, and your favorite local sports talk shows.

I remember sitting at a PD once and being told, "This school's population is 75% minority."

And I pondered, "Then wouldn't that be the majority?"

We know they're not happy these days. We really do.

But can you see it? Can you taste it? Can you feel it? Big Big difference.

How much information do I need? I have a subscription to the Globe, I read some of the articles by Shaughnessy and the others and I look at some of the comments after the articles. I know the general sentiment is that Bloom sucks and needs to go. What else is there to know?

That pretty much sums it up, but I just think talking face to face tops every thing off. It’s not the same this year though with the Red Sox, and Yankees bringing up the rear. It just doesn’t have that xtra zing to it.

Some there have posted that once Bloom finally gets fired, he'll never be rehired to run another club. But imagine if he goes into a different profession... and is tasked with cutting corners in a new industry.

Customer: "My burger tastes strange... almost as if the meat comes from a different animal..."

Waiter: "Well, the higher prices reflect sustained family fun: there's a singalong at dessert, and on Fridays staff wear yellow bibs... but we never said the burgers were still made out of meat."

Yes but you don’t listen to the radio as they spout off the opinions they get from Shaughnessy and Masserotti. And then talk to the people who form their opinions around that radio input. Then and only then will you realize just how negative this situation is…

Glad you get to "feel the vibe." It seems important to you.

I guess you can call that the "ear test," which must be must more informative to you than the "eye test."

Your recent opinions are indicative of that situation.

Like your confirmation bias on the one quote from Kennedy you agree with.

Got it.

To talksox Mass, and Shaugnessy is the bogeyman. It is quite hilarious.

From my little CORNER OF THE WORLD. How sad. Dubbed Joyless Behar of talksox from the gang at PF.

That wasn’t me. Bellhorn or mvp, I think.

Not sure. Except for the part about it not being me…

Sorry, I responded to the wrong post. It's hard to see from my small lil corner.

Bloom never get another MLB job?

He’s made the postseason with two MLB clubs while controlling the budget. He’ll definitely work somewhere else. Cherington had a rough stretch here and he is on his second MLB position since leaving Boston…

Kennedy is such a bad liar that he could yell everyday for years that an election was rigged and stolen -- without zero shred of evidence -- and somebody somewhere still wouldn't believe him.

I never listened to Kennedy. And I’m slowly learning Bloom talks more than he should…
