Benintendi is the better fielder and much better base runner. Confortois a much better power hitter. Also, it was only in the second half of last year that he was fully recovered from his shoulder surgery.

A700 Benny has about the prettiest swing I’ve ever seen this includes Jr .I just wish that someone like JDM could help that swing power up .I watch the kid and either he’s really weak through the turn in the hips or really lacks the raw power .I hope he can show us that pop we all hoped for .

I would agree. It would be quite the PR nightmare. Those who wanted Mookie to stay would still be pissed. Those who wanted to get under the lux tax would now be pissed.

The problem I've seen is that a lot of the newer articles ignore where the original source states that it was Baldwin who committed the assault and that it ended when the other players walked in. There's a reason Baldwin is out of baseball and Verdugo isn't.

The allegation is that there were a bunch of underage people drinking. There were roughly 4 Dodgers players there. As one girl was blacking out, Baldwin was fondling her. The other players walked in and Baldwin stopped. That's the entire story. There's no indication that Verdugo was assaulting her.

Kids what 21 right already had TJ ? And he’s getting traded for Mookie .I would say we where told medicals clear with minor scar tissue but in reality that impinge we are all being told about is a shoulder issue like a tear .No way in Hell can Mr Brusdar be anything more than filler on a trade of this magnitude.

The Deal has been held up due to concerns about Brusdal's health. I'm guessing we are now holding out for a sweetner to the deal. Either a better pitching prospect who is still healthy, or an add on. Like we eat less of Price's contract in order to accept damaged goods. But if the guy is damaged goods, I'd want to swap the prospect.

The Twins should know more about the guy than the Red Sox. If the Twins think he is a reliever, I am skeptical of the Red Sox reported interest in him as a starter.
