Was Dave Dombrowski's finest moment getting Chris Sale?

 

I have to say, I remember an exchange a few years back with my older brother, and I said the Red Sox should go all out in trying to trade for Chris Sale and he said they'd never get him. And maybe at the time he was right, that they didn't have the pieces, but I was shocked when Dave pulled that one off. Reminded me of the trade for Pedro Martinez, which equally shocked me.

I would never eat a pig. I even take the pigs out of my animal crackers and put them in my daughter's Little People barn.

That feels hypocritical because Animal Crackers are excellent with whipped cream and hot fudge...

And when I say "whipped cream" I'm not talking about the generic stuff you do whippits with. Fresh made whipped cream is one of the most amazing things you can eat.

The most popular is chocolate. Vanilla is fine, but not if you refuse to put anything on it. That's when it turns into serial killer territory.

 

There's nothing better than a soft serve vanilla cone. With nothing on it.

 

I'm not averse to putting anything on it, but it's good enough on its own that it doesn't need anything.

I prefer bacon-wrapped scallops.

 

I am not a fan of bacon that is not really crispy.

 

With bacon wrapped anything, the bacon is not cooked enough for my liking.

IMO, Dombrowski's finest moment so far has been signing JD for a very reasonable contract.

Nats sign Anibal Sanchez to $19M/2 with a $12M option third year and a possible $33M/3 with incentives.

 

If that's what Anibal Sanchez is getting, the "discount closer" DD is waiting out the market for is Matt Barnes.

 

Unless he goes all in on Jim Johnson or Brad Brach...
