Hope that's true and hate to be a downer, but over his career, Price has struggled against the Yankees (15-11 in 38 games, 4.53 ERA and 1.370 WHIP). The only AL team he's been worse against is the Rangers.

 

And who knows which Tanaka shows up tonight; he seems to be either very good or very bad when facing the Sox.

Stanton and Sanchez both busted out last night--and Yanks were able to rest their best relievers.

 

What bothers me about tonight is that Benintendi is being benched against Tanaka.... based on history (with no reference that he's riding high right now I suppose) So no Bogaerts and no Beni... this leaves a thin lineup

 

This game will be a test for the new David Price. May he shut them down for 7-8 innings.
