    I would let some other sucker pay what he wants. How much money does a man need? Holding out for every last cent. disgusting. Expecting your true value is understandable to a certain point but you can't tell me a guy can't live off of 200 million dollars. In an era where the greatest qb of all time takes pay cuts, mookie looks wicked greedy. Besides, look at other teams who can win with a low budget. Where's their Golden Ticket 500 million dollar king? Angels and Phillies have one, are they playing in the playoffs? NOPE.

    I'm going to lose my mind. Sometimes I wish we had a Bill Belichick type manager on this team who can check the egos aside and do what's right for the team. A run should have scored there sorry but there's no excuse for not having Vaz bunt Holt to 3rd. I understand Vaz has had a good year but do the right thing and have him bunt. My goodness.

    Football has it right. Baseball has it wrong. There's no incentive for Porcello or Sale to be effective pitchers anymore. THEY ALREADY GOT PAID. In the NFL, you get your guaranteed money then you get your regular salary over certain number of years. If you stink it up you get cut and you lose out on the rest of the contract. Baseball needs that or else you get these clowns who pack it in after they get their fully guaranteed contract.
