I am pissed that I can not see games on the MLB Network.

 

It seems very stupid and short sided of MLB to eliminate such a large chunk of it's potential audience during the highest point of it's season.

I know I'm in a minority but it doesn't matter to me who wins Cards/Cubs. It's the Dodgers I want out.

 

I really want Toronto/KC in the AL. I'm OK with the Astros - Texas is meh.

I want the Cards out only because I want a WS winner who hasn't won in a while. I don't care too much about who wins other than the Cardinals, though I'd like it to be the Astros, Rangers, or Cubs, because their droughts are the longest.

I don't have anything against the Cardinals, per se, other than they've won so many times. Plus, I have a soft spot in my heart for Theo and Lester. I really hope the Cubs are the NL team in the WS.

 

Between the Dodgers and the Mets, I prefer the Mets.

 

As far as the AL goes, I am good with any of the teams.

It was borderline late for sure. If the ss had not had to turn away from the play Utley might have eaten the throw to first. It is part of the game. He plays hard.

I really, really wish that Maddon were not a part of that team.

That return throw glancing off of the bat was the funniest thing I've ever seen, especially the catcher's reaction. He makes a routine throw back to the pitcher but f***s up and hits the bat, then looks around the field and at the runner with body language that implies he didn't understand what was going on. You f***ed up, man. That's what's going on. Don't look at everyone else like they're crazy.

Toronto ran off the two longest winning streaks in the regular season. Of all the teams in the post season, they are the team that is most capable of coming back after losing the first 2 games.
