    I'll tell you what - sign me up for this mini HR derby to decide tied games - they need to put this in for regular season games next season. This is nothing soccer and hockey don't already do, and pitching arms are too valuable to be playing up to 20 innings in one game. Instant drama and excitement.

    This weekend I read a book about him breaking the HR record. The amount of racist abuse, insults and death threats he got was beyond disgusting. The fact that hardly any fans bothered to attend the games until the final homestand speaks volumes. He got more love and respect from fans on the road than in his own stadium.

    Not crazy about the name, but understand that almost all of the really cool or viable names are already taken by some pro or semi-pro team in some sport somewhere. Even Guardians was already being used by the local roller derby side. The logo and the C really, really suck. Why couldn't they keep the block C?
