Nestle Cortez went 7.1 IP of no hit ball. The score is still 0-0 after Eli White singles.

Holmes in relief, now.

Nasty Nestor was quite dominant today.

The Angels rookie , Reid Detmers no hit the Rays last night. He only had two strikeouts in the game.

And rendon homered from the left side, pretty cool.

I think he hit it off of a position player in the blowout game. Still pretty good though.

yup, it was off a position player.

They say he hits lefty in the cage all the time.

On the same day they acquire Verlander of course too

Although TEX got Scherzer, I'm thinking HOU wins the division, and we have to pass TOR or TEX with TBR and BAL as much longer shots at falling sharply.

Wanted to remind people he's the Ace of the Astros.

SEA was one of baseball's hottest teams before losing the last two to BAL, this weekend.

They are facing KCR, tonight. Brady Singer just let up a single to Dominic Canzone with 2 outs in the 7th. The first hit by SEA.

KCR lead 5-0, as of now.

Go Royals!

2025 MLB players survey results: Best athlete, best teammate, and best choice for his own talk show after he retires -- Mookie Betts.

This on the No-No Thread won't surprise Red Sox front office and ownership from 2019...

Should we pay this guy market value; what he's actually worth? NO!

But isn't he the ideal ballplayer and personality to keep here for his entire career as a Hall of Fame talent, Face of the Franchise, and Ambassador for Boston baseball forever after? Uhhh.. NO!

What a No-No.

Old friend Martin Perez now of the White Sox, is no hitting the Twins through six.

White Sox SP in general should be the early story of 2025.  0.00 ERA through their first 23 IP…

Juan Soto's solo HR broke up a Williams no-hitter with 1 out in the 9th.

We have not had a no-hitter this season.

Williams was at 126 pitches when Vogt finally pulled him with 2 outs in the 9th.  That's always a tough call - how many pitches do you allow your starter to throw in an attempt to get a no-hitter or a complete game?

Yamamoto pitched 8.2 innings of no hit ball tonight versus the O's, but lost the no hitter on his last batter as Jackson Holliday squeaked a HR over the fence to make it a 3-1 game. The Dodgers bullpen then came in and gave up a double, hit by pitch, walk, walk, and single to get walked off for the second game in a row.

If I hadn't watched Game 5 of the WS last year I'd say this was the most absurd loss I'd ever watched.
