Pulled from the game by the manager with 5 outs to go and still zero hits. Gotta feel for the kid. It was the right play by the manager in a close game and the kid was getting wild but still, that has to suck.

Aaaaand Dodgers relief pitchers immediately cough up the game giving Stripling the odd line of 7 1/3 innings pitched, 1 run on no hits.

Pitch count limits for rookies can be a good call, but come on. The guy isn't going to disintegrate if you let him pitch over the limit this one time to try for the no-hitter. This wasn't the fifth inning, it was the 8th. I have to say I disagree with the choice to pull him from the game.

It's not just about the guy's career. Recent history shows that when a pitcher throws 140-150 pitches his arm isn't the same for about a month.

Two more words: Gil Meche

That said, a little once-in-a-century history may have been worth pushing the rookie for.

The NLE has more than its share of idiot managers.

Miami almost lose the game in the ninth thanks to Mattingly. Conley was only 4 outs away to get the no-no. All the crowd in MIL booed him. The pitch count is overated.

The bright side of this is that he made me win 900 bucks hahaha.

When it comes to sports betting, you are the best that I know. I know some good sports gamblers -- mainly horse players. They are phenomenal handicappers, but I don't know of anyone that has as sophisticated a system for non-horse racing sports as you do.

Thank you my friend.

Well, my model is working just fine. I think, I'm going to start to bet serious money, I think it is ready.

Colby Lewis will soon be pitching in the 9th, having put up a lot of goose eggs.

Way to jinx him Kimmi!

Madison Bumgarner has a no-no going through 7, the only baserunner getting there on an error. Check out espn.

Youk, feel free to dump this on Monday, but for now I didn't know where to put it so it would be seen.
