Once again my thanks for a very useful chart.

The Sox team ERA is 3.50.

Of those 8 only Weissert's ERA is above that--his is 4.11

Olds ERA is 0, so is Miller's.

Gamboa is 1.31 and Chapman 1.81.   Guerrero 2.72.  Bello as a reliever around 1.30.

Moran is 3.00

Wow.

Keeping Sogie, Mona and Mickey in the lineup... 🤌

i wonder why no Contreras and no Rutchsman. i really don't even want Wong on the team.

It's the ghost of every manager.  I think a good manager should be able to tell you of a day off two weeks in advance.

Even though he's outhitting Rurchsman by 15 points or so?

And Rutschman ?  Tonight would. be a good game for a couple more starter rests , say Abreu and Rafaela.

Or do the team owe Gray the A lineup?

AR is out due to injury-elbow soreness

A great play by Rafaela followed by a shite throw by Wrong.

Neither Sogard s nor Wong’s throws were that bad.  The odds of two throws hitting a runners helmet are pretty slim, and Lopez couldn’t have rolled the ball to a better spot to allow himself to score.

2 singles in 4 innings against a 4+ ERA pitcher.

I know. it doesn't matter before the 8th/9th  inning when the guys can feast on BP dregs

I want Wong gone, but because the Sox can't depend on Rutschman's availability, they can't DFA him.

Who replaces him as a backup even if AR is reliable?

Sluggo Mickey G

If you thought Story had no clue at the plate before injury, wait to see this new version. He’s even more horrible. Guy is literally lost and out of rhythm and btw in AAA ball. Calling him now would be a terrible mistake.

They should have kept Rogers and send down Wong. It was a bold decision though.

IMO Adley is going to be fine as long he stays healthy. His discipline at plate is great.
