Since 2018:

5 first place finishes

7 playoff appearances

5 playoff series wins

0 NL championships

It's a team not built for the postseason.

IMO that pitching staff is the best in the NL. It is better and deeper than last year. If somehow they finally hit in PO, they are going to be unstoppable. The latter is a big IF though,

What is equally shocking is we have players that can actually execute a bunt.

Maybe, and I am just spit-balling here, maybe the fact that we have a fair amount of guys from AAAA that had to make use of every skill they could learn.  The 25-HR guys probably spend less time practicing the bunt.

Their offense was much more productive last year than this year. If they can't hit in the postseason again, they are in trouble.

Harrison started to slow down in July. Drohan is their 3rd highest fWAR pitcher. I don't know if that's really something to brag about.

IMO MIL will win the NL this year. The Cubs and Atlanta are close though.

I think they will lose in the playoffs, again.

I flinch whenever someone compares the 2026 Red Sox to the Brewers. I hope having Rafaela/Contreras/Abreu/Rutschman can push them further in the playoffs than the Brew Crew.

OK, now someone try to explain exactly what the Brewers' "postseason issues" are.

Coming from a guy who thinks "clutch" is not a sustainable skillset, they are chokes.

The theory is that small ball doesn't work in the postseason. You need homeruns. Currently, the Sox are hitting homeruns.

MIL 25: 22nd in HR

MIL 26: 30th in HR

Red Sox are 4th in MLB in HR since July 1.

I thought Chris Murphy pitched for Woo.  Didnt he use to be on our team?

We traded him for Ronny Hernandez, who will be Rule 5 eligible this coming winter.
