No way they bring in a reliever with Duran at bat.  Rogers owns him.

Wrong again!!!!  I would have preferred a single, but love the sac fly.

Nothing wrong with swinging at those 3 pitches, but Rafaela K'd anyway.

Quality start. He is a promising piece. Hope they can keep him.

I know I'm totally surprised by his last 2 games, but I agree with you.

Here's all you need to know about Moran: 40 pitches to get 4 outs so far after yet another walk.

No answer here

Narvaez has become a lost cause at bat.

Toro may be up for the last time right now

Narvaez has a lot of company

where the hell does Breslow find these losers?

He does have quite a collection of dregs, doesn’t he. It’s a shame, because he had all that money to spend after getting rid of Devers.

I know he’s not a 100% but that’s a sloth in a mud pile slow

He was never fast. The last thing this team needs is Bregman going down again. I don’t mind him Pacing himself in a game like this.

It’s still incredible that Breslow not only traded Devers, he took back this sack of s*** Jordan Hicks and gets to pay him $12 million the next two years! Brilliant move, Craig!

the Giants are laughing their ass off at Breslow for taking on this loser.

Imagine now having to win #2 vs Orioles to get a home split , when they are supposed to be pushing for a playoff spot.

To be fair they were facing one of the top pitchers in the game. And too many players aren’t hitting the ball. Bad combination. Worse yet, we have Boohler going tomorrow.

I nominate Moron Moran as the new I. Campbell. Put a tough game out of reach.

Warning Track power does not win games

The bullpen stinks right now.  Hicks adds 2 more.

This is what you get when your GM had zero intentions of truly improving this team at the deadline.  Smoke and mirrors for the third year in a row.

It’s an improvement. They’ll likely play a playoff game this year unless the bottom drops out. But you’re right: if Breslow is doing this on his own he should be fired along with Cora.

There is a reason why guys like Moran and Hicks were made available.  They are not good.

Narvaez, Toro, and Rafaela have been worn down by the 162.  They've been terrible over the last two months.  These dog days have killed ability to hit.

A good night to hit poorly.  No matter how well May pitched, the Sox bullpen was the Orioles guarantee this game would be unwinnable.

If the Sox score a 2d run, this loss is entirely on the bullpen, which stinks.

If you paid attention to the pitching matchup, you wouldn’t have been surprised.  This did not favor the Sox.

Rigersis a good pitcher.  May gave the team a shot, but the pen put it out of reach.

7 years ago Cora gave every player a number of days off--and the uproar on talksox was deafening.

Our best hitter and player Bregman just swung at an awful first pitch, a mile outside the strike zone, and popped up for the first out.
