Just based on his last two games he’s better than I expected. Good velocity, good sweeper. If he can throw strikes he can contribute.

We are not good enough to control the opponents.

We beat good teams and turn around lose to bad teams.

This is not a World Championship team. No way it can win a 5 game series, away, 2 7game series away. Fat chance. That's not a crap shoot for us.

I agree, but I don't think anyone here has considered this Sox team a world championship team. They're just better than last year's team, so far.

I predict we will make the playoffs but be quickly eliminated. Still better than the past several years, slightly

Tonight the Orioles starter is better than Crochet with about half his ERA.

I'm irritated too, but it's not unexpected.

Good start again by May, especially when he battled in the 4th and only gave up 1 run.   Quality start.

We can complain all we want to about the hitting, but right now they cannot score enough runs that the bullpen can't give back.

You are so correct.  You will see the best pitching in the playoffs. Sox struggle with it.

The pen had a couple of bad games but last I checked they were best in the AL. Slaten will be back soon. The pen isn’t the problem. It’s the hitting.
