On paper but this is a situational game though, events do not go necessarily the same way after previous/post situation. The pitching sequence wouldn’t be the same to start off therefore the result will likely be different for better or worse.

The Sox BP magnifies how truly bad this rotation is. The BP has been exceptional of late.

You could see that Toro was determined to hit a flyball to score Narvaez , getting the score tied.  A professional AB with a purpose.     You can only wish some were watching and learning.

I was writing it as Romy blooped the hit and I wrote it yesterday as well.

I’d buy it if it were Koufax or Carlton on the mound,  This Angel’s pitcher was in AA a week ago.

Mayer’s had 6 PAs against southpaws.  Now, I don’t know his minor league splits so there is info that Cora has and I don’t.

Rafaela has been hot this last week. I knew I would cool him off if I picked him up and started him today in my fantasy league. Yep. 0-4 and strikes out with the bases loaded and no outs. Fantasy Gods strike again, I also picked up and started Giolito today. :(

May as well argue.  Romy did get credited for a double on a popfly jam job just out of 3 defenders reach . Good for Romy because he actually hit the ball and something happened.

Now if the throw to 3rd had been more accurate, Narvaez chose not to slide and overran the bag.  i trust he was getting the stand up sign as the throw was off line.  Would not have been pretty otherwise.

Weissert gives up a double to a guy with a .360 OPS , and with 2 strikes.

Fascinating how the Red Sox set up these 1 run or extra inning games just to keep the fans engaged .

Came from outside the organization so doesn’t have the Sox minor league philosophy ingrained.
