Speaking of Story's ineffectiveness, I noticed the Mets' fans were booing Soto last night. I loved it.

Ol' Juan may have bought his way into a miserable situation and is folding under the pressure. Beware of what you wish for.     I think that deal does give him a 5th year opt-out.   I would bet now, he takes it.

Story at this point is more than hurting this team. First he couldn’t turn a DP that cost us 3 runs and later he couldn’t bring a run with one out and runner on 3rd. Cora needs to sit him ASAP to let him clear his mind a couple of games or even more. He’s literally a black hole in this lineup.

Campbell has hit the ball hard today.

Yeah, unlike Story he’s at least making contact. Wonder how’s his BAPIP these days.

Os being the Os all over again.

Os should have walked Devers, it was a no brainer man, but thank you lol

Why did the O's pitch to Devers in that situation.  primarily to get this miserably long game over.

Competing for the #1 draft slot , so the O's can build a young talented team.   Oh, you say they already have one .  Then WTF ?

And damn, Rafy STILL hasn't 'learned his lesson'!!  It's important to discipline him, far more important than, say, winning games.

Sports psychology is as important as any stat. Right now the Orioles are losers. They look beaten and demoralized.    The manager has been iced. The G.M. is in hiding. You can spot them three runs, nothing changes. They know they will find a way to lose. It is hard to succeed without having confidence in yourself.  The Orioles have zero confidence. And this is the team that " experts" projected to be contenders for years to come.

I guess losing your #1 starter and your best power hitter and not attempting to replace them can demoralize a team .
