It’s only early April but this team hasn’t shown me anything. You can’t win games when you can’t even make contact with the baseball. That has to improve.

Struggling with a 3-10 team, and only that because of last night's beatdown .  Cannot find a hitter to step up and carry the load. at a key moment when games can be won.

Is it just me or does NESN consistently miss the first pitch of an AB multiple times per game to show commercials? It is pathetically bad. Every other stream I watch on MLB TV does not have this happen

I am not missing much with this team. I said i would give them 35 to 40 games.  7-9 is not good.

I said before this series even started that even if the Red Sox swept the series it would be nothing more than a MEH, because of who they are playing. Now there is Nothing the Red Sox can do tomorrow to stop this from being a Lost weekend. 11 more K’s by the Red Sox bats, and another error by KC today even though the official scorer didn’t give him one. Being versatile certainly hasn’t made him a good 2B.

Either that or the shift didn’t allow someone to get there.

Realistically, it probably made no difference; Chapman is incredibly easy to run on for a left hander, and Robert has as many steals as Story this year.  We’re not talking Casas speed here.

Still comes down to the offense (or non-offense to be accurate).

More likely Bello.  He pitched 4 innings last night, so he’d be close to being on normal rest come Thursday.  He probably had 1 more start in Worcester anyway before coming off rehab.
